Couldn't read the article because I'm not a subscriber, but Loud is a DE. Not sure if he was mentioned by name. Before that, Winston had already announced he was transferring and he's a DT. That may have had more to do with the open spot and his subsequent offer.

You could be correct, I took the part where he said we had an issue with one of our DL who was leaving to mean Loud but it could have been the other DT he meant.

Don't we have to process 3 players to offer him? Also while the highlight tape may look good, there has got to be a reason why no D1's have offered. No high school football experience and only 2 years of eligibility left to learn the game at the D1 level and contribute. Seems like a nice kid, good character, probably would have been a perfect Mizzou recruit 2 years ago if he had played HS ball.

We are only one scholarship over the limit, and that's if all freshman qualify. Which they won't.
We'll probably have room if they want to add him.
