They seem to think its a two horse race between Odom and Rhule.

Who knows if they know anything, but if you are interested LINK

Link fixed. Crippling shame (hopefully) averted.

JQ - who exactly is "they"? Give up the pronouns introducing a new topic.

Your link goes to a SEC Score Board thread. There is not ONE word about coach anybody.

Your post is as good as Mizzou's offense. (That's bad.)

I'd be happy with Odom, provided of course, we keep Kul.

I'd be very happy with Rhule, although there is a chance he might leave, especially for the Penn State job if it ever opened.

Rhule would be a bad hire IMO, he has zero ties to Mizzou or Southeast.

Larry Fedora should be top of list if Herman is indeed waiting for Texas job

Would Les even consider Mizzou?

I'd retire if someone had to pay me $15 million dollars not to coach

I'm conflicted to if I'd even want him. He'd probably recruit better than any coach we've ever had but our issue is on offense and that's not exactly his specialty.

Les has never had a Drew Lock talent on his team. I think Les knows his QB sucks and is conservative for a reason.

Les has had a couple of good quarterbacks. JaMarcus Russell was the #1 overall pick in the NFL. While Drew Lock has a heap of potential, he really hasn't shown us much thus far. He's only a freshman, but if we don't get this o-line situation figured out, his career could lead to a legacy of "what ifs"

I don't think the OLine is going to be that bad. Crawford played a lot this season, Abeln played a bit. There are some JUCO guys who should play next season. It won't be great, but it can't be worse than this year.

We're screwed if abeln plays unless he dramatically improves

Hopefully he is a better center than guard

I think Harris or Bailey will be the Center

Who knows what the next coach will do, but I think Abeln has the inside track to be the center next year and he's a better fit there than guard. Also, he'll have one more offseason to add strength which is his issue.

Interesting career history.

Love this quote.

quote:

He summed up his philosophy with a quote from George S. Patton—"Instead of waiting to see what might develop, attack constantly, vigorously and viciously. Never let up, never stop, always attack."

They should have just kept McGovern at guard. If you aren't comfortable with Chapell or Crawford at LT have a TE give him help.

+1000.

That sums up the bullshite coaching this year.

You took a team strength (interior OL) and made it a weakness through an ill-conceived philosophy.

Damn it. Now you got me worked up.

Well, they probably should have done something differently but they really didn't.

This whole year has been snake bitten on several fronts and the train just came off the tracks. It's going to get pretty ugly against the Hogs, I'm afraid.
