Been lurking a little the past few days, but now it is time for me to jump back in there and shake some rust off.

Pretty pumped for the upcoming season.

I'm in Birmingham right now and just had some Saw's BBQ.

Saw's is awesome! Did you go to the Soul Food Kitchen?

And I've moved back to Missouri. My mom isn't doing so well, and I just needed to be closer to home. Those months/years don't come back.

I still get back to Alabama though - I have family there now. Going to a wedding in 2 weeks.

Welcome back, semo. Let's hope we'll sip a Jameson in celebration this year...rather than using it to drown our sorrows like we did last year.

Sure did! The parking lot was crappy just like the other two locations.

Do people not get tickets for parking in the grass like that?! People just parked in random parts of the lot when all the legit parking spaces were filled. Southerners are weird.

I've never seen parking like that in my life. People park anywhere, on the grass, etc. They park in their yards. It's crazy. But totally worth it for Saw's. The pork & greens, the cheese grits, and their BBQ - yum! The soul food kitchen is my favorite.
