If his attorney is working with the PA behind the scene they can reach the deal and put it on a docket for the plea at any time and without much notice.
The fact that they keep continuing it for such short periods of time tells me something's cooking. Usually continuances are for a month or more.

I'd imagine it will be all hands on deck at LDE until Haley gets the fit he likes. Howard's first step will certainly be missed.
