We did everything to give Vandy the game and they didn't want it. We could've beat Del State without a coach and with 7 players on the field, so that doesn't count.

I think he got pulled. He was out of gas for sure by then. Went to the locker room because of his ankle in the first half.

We were out talented today.
We need better players on defense. We were never going to win this game. I was surprised we stayed in as long as we did.

They need to recruit some d-tackles, secondary players with some size who can tackle and some linebackers who will stay in their gaps and can cover.

It's frustrating, because last night showed some of the explosive talent and depth we have on the offensive side of the football, and we already knew that the defense should be performing better since the core of that squad was here last season when it was one of the better defenses in the SEC.

Disagree. Their WR beat up on our DBs and we obviously had no answer for Dobbs.
Tennessee is a better team than we are. That's why we lost. We don't have enough players on defense. Scherer out, Beckner out, Newsome nowhere near 100%. That's 3 of our best players and we don't have the depth to make up for it.
We've got some help on the way at LB, but what really concerns me is the DL.
