Some good detailed info:
This is probably where Killz assumed that they wouldn't redshirt Lock. Just media assumption.

Is it just me or is anyone else concerned about the lack of anyone stepping up behind Hansbrough. I was really hoping to start seeing more by now. Doesn't mean that they can't be effective backups, but no one has taken ownership of the backup roles.

Could just be that the rush defense is that good.
Doesn't seem like the coaches really put much of an emphasis on running in the scrimmages, looks like they really wanted to see what they had at QB & receiver.

Given our young team, probably skewing it towards more passing. A. because it helps cut down on injuries. B. to see what they have at receiver.
Everyone needs to stop freaking out over stats in a scrimmage. Especially when QB's cant get hit. Mauk has been playing like it is a real game, avoiding sacks and such. Lock takes too many sacks that would light him up in a game.

Yes, it's concerning. Witter has never impressed me and he didn't do much all camp to change that. Steward and Abbington were not able to make much happen either.
Witter even had the advantage of having most of his carries come with the 1 OL against the 2 DL. None have shown much.

I've been concerned since 2014 ended.
Ish Witter isn't the answer. So unless someone steps up, they're in trouble.
And god forbid an injury to Hansbrough.
