Depending on how this thing pans out would you consider pulling your TSF donations/season tickets?

Absolutely.

It sounds like some very candid and thoughtful discussions on racism need to take place. And I'm all for exercising the right of free speech. But it's seeming as though the BLM movement has infiltrated 3 of the 4 system campuses and is hell bent on trouble.

The players may well be completely justified in feeling oppressed, I don't know. I don't see it, but I'm not there. Regardless - their presence at Mizzou is dependent on certain actions on their part. They signed an agreement. If they don't fulfill their part, the university is justified in not fulfilling theirs. I hope it doesn't come to that.

I'm really hoping we see some leadership in this mess. Otherwise, I see donations drying up as boosters express their disgust.

No doubt about it. Hanging by a thread currently.

These students are trashing the reputation of Mizzou, their own school. I hope they have "chosen their battles wisely". But from what I hear so far, these issues could have been settled easily with both sides winning. They have settled on their course and it may be justified, I don't know. Regardless, the school will pay a heavy price.

I get regular phone calls telling me how appreciated my donations are, and "can we count on you to...?"

Henceforth, my reply will be, "No, sorry, I won't send another check to help provide a free ride to pampered athletes who make a mockery of our university."

We owe BYU one million if we don't play the game.

Funny you say this, because I just got a call about an hour ago and told them I won't be renewing my donation if there are no consequences for the football team quitting mid season.

The lady said she was getting a lot of negative feedback when making her retention calls today.

I am planning on upping my donation level actually. It makes me sick reading about all the people who are considering pulling their donations. The team is united and we need to embrace one another and pull together. That is the only way we get out of this mess, by showing compassion and supporting the school that we all love.

I support the school. I don't support a radical promoting racial division and intent on white shaming because he's pissed about planned parenthood and grad worker insurance subsidies.

I already cancelled February's annual donation. And I'm not renewing the TSF donations. I did my undergrad at Southwest Missouri State. Perhaps, I'll visit Springfield.

I am on the fence now. I mean if my money is supporting these kind of actions...

As of now, I'm finished with TSF donations and my season tickets......This was the worst SJ witch hunt that I've seen in my life. Over absolutely nothing.

I live in Washington state, so I don't have season tickets. But, I will no longer donate to the alumni association.

My arse is really chafed over this myopic witch hunt.

I used to tutor athletes when I was in the Mizzou MBA program. Their sense of entitlement was outrageous then and clearly much worse now. I wash my hands of this filth.

That's not true. There are several not united.

Well, Pollyanna, I don't know what things are like on your planet, but I have no "compassion" for mob blackmail.

I won't send another dime to Mizzou. I can't believe a vocal minority was able to pull this off. It seems to me that the reported incidents were very minor, if they even happened. Did the president do anything wrong? No. Does the president control everything said and done on a large campus? No. Do we know if the alleged racial slurs even came from Mizzou students? No. The athletes that failed to participate in team activities (i.e. didn't report for work) should be fined or fired. Sure, they have the right to protest but not without consequences. The whole situation is BS.
