They can win this game. Not that they will. They just can.

I don't like the 2nd round matchup. Louisville is one of 3 or 4 teams I don't think we can play with. Oh well.

Agreed. There is virtually 0% chance of making it past round 2 assuming we can win our first game. I would literally rather play any team in America before Louisville.

That's exactly how I feel. I was so disappointed when Missouri came up here. If we didn't drop to a 10, I just wanted to be the 8/9 with any team other than Louisville.

I vaguely remember the game, but it felt like in the 2nd half, we couldn't even get the ball past Russ Smith at midcourt.

We're much better now than we were then. A scary thought.

Funny quote from Colorado States coach.

"I know they like to pressure and they like to trap," Eustachy said. "We're going to have to take care of the ball to have a chance."

Makes me wonder if he realized Mike Anderson is no longer here cause we are actually one of the worse turnover forcing teams in the country this year. Hopefully he actually prepares for this! haha

That's funny Tiger. That hardly describes us at all. Maybe someone is sending him tape of VCU.

As to Louisville, if we can get out of the 1st round, is one of the tougher matchups we could have gotten. Having said that, we are much better now than then. Our bench has been shortened and players have more defined roles now. Brown is playing now. NWC won't play 33 minutes. Still an incredibly tough match up but between the changes on this team, and maybe Louisville thinking they already have our number, an upset isn't out of the question. I could see the Colorado State game being a more dangerous game if Mizzou takes them too lightly. I can see Mizzou being fired up to play Louisville and they've done a pretty good job at "revenge" games.

I agree with you Reedus, really think the previous game with Louisville hardly even counts because how different we were. Plus we all these transfers really had not played much together at all. Bell for one is a much different player now, and good Jabari would make a world of difference in that game. Not claiming I feel great about that game, most cause of how well Louisville has played recently, but I do think we would have a punchers chance for sure.

Yeah, Haith was still playing a lot of the guys trying to figure out what his rotation was going to be once Brown was eligible. While Bell has accepted his role and is a better player now than he was at that time, I think the same can be said of the others too. I think AO understands his role within the team better, get 10 and 10 each game. We don't need 20 and 10 from him. Ross isn't the only 3 point shooter on the floor like he kind of was at the time. May come down to what we've said for most of the season. As Pressey goes, so goes Mizzou.

Tigers have a chance if the real team shows up. I am sick of the Larry, Moe and Curly type of basketball. I will only worry about game two IF we win game one.

It's halftime. Phil's assignment on defense has accounted for 20 points or so. We're down 9. We've shot 30ish percent. We aren't rebounding. I'm not watching the second half.

Talk to him daily. Not sure it will happen. He kinda fell on the sword a bit. He is one dude who passionfor MIZZOU is only surpassed by the birds on the bat.

I thought if I didn't follow this game on edge of my seat....they might win. So much for that theory.

Haven't watched enough to critique their play. Shooting seems cold, from what I have glimpsed.

Prediction: First round loss in under six minutes.

Even if he did they may not let him back in. When he goes off he really goes off. You saw that. No half arse with him.
