Where did Allen go, and what round?

He went very late, 6th round I think, and to the Jags. While he had a great finish to last season he'd been iffy before that and his measurables (he has small hands for a QB and he's only 6'1") doomed him.

Odds are pretty good he hangs around the NFL in a backup type role for a couple of years and then goes into coaching. He's from a coaching family and he's pretty bright when it comes to football. His father has worked for the Arkansas football program for 18 years so he's likely to wind up here eventually, especially if Bert is still the head coach.

I think he is still with the Ravens. He is a guy that had all the measurables for a QB; height, big hands, cannon arm. But... he's about as mobile as moss on stone and there is no throw he doesn't think he can't make. Which is great sometimes but other times means hell yeah he'll throw into quintuple coverage 40 yards downfield instead of checking off to the wide open WR 7 yards away.

Tyler Wilson could have had a solid NFL career as a backup but Petrino's philosophy of why bother with blocking meant he wracked up a ton of hits over a short college career. He was shot by the time he hit the pros.

I'm trying to think of other Arkansas players in the NFL. McFadden probably made the biggest impact.

We haven't had superstars in the NFL recently, McFadden possibly. Henry should do well and Tretola could have a very solid career as a lineman.
