Barely broke 50k for the home opener.
Tiger Lounge (the donors) was a wasteland. If it's going to bother you that Mizzou has a bunch of work to do with its fanbase for the next couple of years, it's going to be a rough couple of years.

At least you get a better view of Olivia Harlan on the sideline now. Wonder why Tigers are wearing all black on a hot afternoon?

I ran into a friend from HS yesterday. We talked a bit, football came up, and he asked who my team was. I told him Mizzou, obviously. He said they were his team. Then said, well, I guess they're still my team, I'm just still disgusted. I understand completely.
It's going to take a while for casual fans to come back. Winning will make that happen quicker. Barry Odom has his work cut out for him. If I were advising him, I'd tell him to get his players out in the community as much as he can, especially in the off-season. Volunteer. Be visible. Work with kids. Not just in Columbia, but all over the state. They have to make the players likable and approachable - remove that "protestor" caricature that's currently been painted into people's minds.
I'd also be working hard to put good human interest stories out about the players. Rehab that image.

Meh, if there's one thing I've learned from the election cycle this year is there are a lot of angry white people that have completely abandoned reason and the ability to understand complexity in social situations.
So I say frick 'em.
Hope they die sooner rather than later. I have a gay wedding to attend.

Yes, it's the irrational angry white people advancing false narratives and fanning the flames of racial tension to the point of causing riots and looting. Actually, now that I think about it, the media promoting this garbage probably are mostly white. I'm not sure how angry they are, though.

Sounds like you need a safe space.

Meh. What you say is true, but I prefer to bask quitely in my suburbia of white privilege.
