Really good second half. Made a big run and beat them how they were supposed to.

The freshmen have been very impressive so far.
Puryear has really suprised me.
Gant has to learn to stay out of foul trouble.
Did lots better in the second half of attacking the rim, not settling.

I actually had fun watching this game. Almost makes me want to buy tickets to the tournament in KC this month. Almost.

You can tell they're playing basketball.
I'm pleasantly surprised at this point.
Should be fun to watch the season progress.

My husband said that during halftime there was some discussion among the commentators, regarding whether the BB team had considered joining the protest of last week. Evidently their answer was that they were not comfortable with the facts as presented to them and put off any decision last Sunday. Coach A did tell them he would support their decision. None of the team members had any contact with Butler.

Situation resolved next day....

There is a video interview with KA at Kansas City online paper

I've been saying that Allen was most likely to transfer, but he had a very solid game today. I think we saw the role that he will have this year. Probably won't play every game, but will give the team great energy and athleticism when he plays.

That's how it should work and shows that not all is always as it's reported. At least the coach gave them the option and freedom to do as they felt was necessary. Either way, good for them.

It sounds like the BB team is a helleva lot smarter than the FB team so to them.

Should I make my Final 4 reservations now? I'm thinking 40-0 this year & the GOAT!!

That's just dumb.

Whenever you have Arizona, UNC, X, UK ect on your schedule no way you go undefeated. I could see us going 38-2, just not 40-0

O no, we win the Natty. We will just have to regular season losses, probably with zona and and Omaha

They definitely seem to be enjoying themselves and having fun.

This is a lot more entertaining to watch.

I've been to both games...it's just crazy how different the feel is this year. I'm not saying their roles won't change throughout the course of the year, but I haven't seen a single guy trying to do too much--it seems like they all know exactly what their job is on the floor (which is a pretty stark contrast to last year).

I have no idea what this team's record is going to be, but they are going to be solid, if unspectacular.

Well you have KA players on the team, he's a team guy.

Haith? Yea Haith was a "Hey Clarkson, take 40 shots a game!" type of guy
