Any season ticket holders out there? We just purchased ours-womdering what kind of fan support the baseball team has. We relocated to Columbia from Baton Rouge a few months ago. Weather permitting, do people tailgate?

U r not exactly going to have to fight the crowds. Very very low key compared to what you are probably used to.

I mean you can. People have done it. Lots of nice park like places over there to do it. Maybe you'll even see someone else. Maybe. Football tailgating is legit though. You will enjoy the fall

The baseball support tends to go towards the pro teams, esp the cards. And even that is not really a tailgate kind of crowd. More of a go to the bars in the village and drink kind of crowd, or just go to the game and drink

You will be very disappointed. LSU fans pack the park like good milb teams, stadium packed over 10,000...loud, etc. Don't get your hopes up high with Mizzou baseball. They might build more support with winning.

Sorry to hear there's not much support; looking forward to seeing Tanner Houck throw. Hoping that he & Lange will square off when LSU comes to town.

Which day is Lange going to throw? Sounds like Houck will be on Saturdays.

No season tickets but I'll get there for a few weekends, more if they're playing well

Second straight shutout. Benes with another Jack. Almost had a grand slam too.

Struggling to find offense in the 3rd game. Down 5-2.

For some damn reason TJ threw true freshman Plassmeyer. The kid is from my alma mater so you'd think I'd be happy, but I'm just not sold he's an SEC caliber pitcher and why he has him as our #3 is concerning.

The baseball stadium will have a better percentage of full seats than our basketball team does.

Lange threw today, too. Don't know if that will be the regular rotation.

De Oca faced 1 batter so far and struck him out

TJ has to figure out the 3rd starter. It ain't plassmeyer and it ain't lee. Down 3-0. 2-2 against seton hall sucks. Especially after you beat their top 2

Make it 4-0. I don't think starter went past 4 for us.

Small sample size but there is a top ranked kid from high school that throws upper 90's who struck out the only batter he faced

Yeah, what's up with De Oca? Why doesn't TJ want to use him in that role?

The knock on De Oca is control. If he gets that down he will be a starter.

With de Oca, you have the chance to be really good this year. With these other guys, Sunday is almost a guaranteed loss. Yes, TJ would rather throw a guy that throws 80-85 but throws strikes but gets lit up for 5 runs than a guy who can potentially throw shut out ball against anyone.

I would at least try for greatness until he shows you he cant

And down 8-0. Bartlett went 3-0 before a hit. Sac bunt. 3-0 before fly out. Walk. Hit. Walked in a run before being lifted. Not exactly throwing strikes and getting ahead of guys

For the life of me, I don't understand the thinking of Missouri's coach.
