Ok so he attempted 17 passes per game. 10 completion per game. Been a while since I watched HS football, but that still doesnt sounds like a lot. especially when you have tGOAT at WR

ESTL had a good RB, he's only a sophomore or a junior. But he's a P5 level talent.
Teams also put 2-3 defenders on Thomas, so it made sense to stick to their run heavy attack.

Estes has plenty of arm strength, but his throwing motion, footwork, everything is really bad.

Heupel is a good coach though.

Yeah. I honestly don't know Illinois could ever offer Estes that Heupel and Mizzou wouldn't completely blow away.
