Saturday night football in Baton Rouge, can't wait.

I don't have tickets yet, but will be sitting in the lower bowl. Looks like ticket prices are fairly reasonable.

Staying in NOLA Friday and Saturday nights.

I couldn't find a lot of information on tailgating or pregame activities, just a bunch of generic info on the LSU website and a couple of articles. Anybody been to a game there, or have info on where the best tailgates are, how receptive LSU fans are, where to park, etc?

Since we joined the SEC, we have taken road trips to Ole Miss, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Texas A&M, and the fans have treated us visitors great at all of them (beats the crap out of Ames, Manhattan, Lubbock, etc).

I wish I was going! I'm sure you'll have a great time! You should post this on the OBT, several LSU fans post there and could help you out.

And not the OT - the OTB.

Go to Frenchman St while in Nola.

Take a peak at Bourbon and then get the F off that trash tourist trap.

I am all in. Well... lets be honest. I cheer for Arkansas, A&M, and Mizzou.

Arkansas is playing Alcorn State. So... yeah.

A&M is play USCe and well... yeah.

Mizzou is playing LSU and I don't think you are underdogs here. I like your odds to pull off an upset or extend the game into oh my God status.

I'm going with my wife and another couple. Got a hotel in BR for Friday/Saturday nights. Section 406. From what I can tell, this MIGHT be a visitors section or at the very least close to the visitor's section.

Can't wait!

Hmm what can I share with my fellow SEC members.
Okay.
Prepare to be really annoyed with parking. If you don't have a parking pass you will not be able to get into the middle of campus. But there is parking within walking distance. Try the levee lot or McKinley private paid parking.

Also you will be Tigerbaited every 5 minutes at least.

Everything else should be cool. Shouldn't have problem getting food or drink, likely to be offered to you. Shouldn't have problem with PoPo (like Gainesville)

Welcome to Baton Rouge y'all. I hope y'all enjoy yourselves

I'll be there with a couple of buddies...sweet baby Jesus the visitor's section at LSU is awful (at least where our tickets were, and I'm a $1k donor); our seats are in the tippy top of 631.

I bought four and there are only 3 of us going, so if someone will be around and wants a ticket, I'll get rid of it awfully cheap. We're going to try to find a parking pass, but not having much luck.

Did you get them from Mizzou? 401-402 are the visitor sections.

Good to know. I searched around and could not find a solid answer on the visitors' section.

Missouri sold its full allotment of 6,000 tix to LSU game. Only other SEC road game MU has sold entire allotment was Vandy in 2015.

Based on what I've heard, I'd be shocked if there were only 6,000 Mizzou fans there. I'm expecting at least 10,000. Hope so, anyway.
