He must have given an interview or press conference, probably in connection with the Menu case being closed. But people were quoting him left and right today on tons of different topics.

From Title IX, to adding Men's Tennis, to Rhoades dealing with TJ, to possible new baseball stadium, to work on the south endzone, to paying athletes versus amateurism. I'm hoping there will be some good articles summarizing it all because otherwise it would be like 100 tweets.

This is the nugget I was looking for.

Full cost of attendance, and all basic needs fulfilled for revenue sport athletes is key, paying beyond that is a terrible idea.

Problem I see is places like Wisconsin, Michigan ect ice hockey is a revenue sport. Places like Miss St baseball is a revenue sport.

I'm not sure how you could do that, as I don't think all student athletes should get full cost of attendance.

Do you give a shite about men's tennis if it means to balance it out they add:

Since we're the only one in SEC with rasslin, it makes sense to me that we don't have men's tennis. I'd rather see them better fund rasslin than start man tennis.

Yeah, Men's Tennis does nothing for me...I'd much rather have a men's soccer team (which is probably way more expensive than tennis) or men's Ice hockey (which is a pipe dream in and of itself).

My point was I don't so much care about men's tennis. But I am a fan of whatever it takes to get a sand volleyball team.

What does this mean? Are we not using our full allotment of scholarships for baseball and softball? I think it is 11.7 and 12 for each. I'm not following what he means.

I love hearing Loftin put an emphasis on getting to the next level. I get the feeling it is not just talk and he actually feels this way. Hopefully this means exciting times ahead.

I firmly believe that Mr. Loftin will lead Mizzou to much higher levels than have been experienced before.

He needs to get the SEC to add wrestling. With the big 5 conferences now able to pay full cost scholarships for wrestlers... (Big 10 and Big 12 schools) while we aren't allowed to because we aren't in a big 5 conference... I would think that that makes recruiting wrestlers even harder.
