I'm in. This guy really wanted to be the coach for Mizzou. That's a lot more than you can say for the past 3 coaches or any of the other alternatives on this search.

Recruiting is my main concern. I think the guy can coach... but can he get talent?

I'm not going to root against him.

I would guess his chances for ultimate success are below 50%.

Good luck to him.

On board. For everyone bitching about his age, 58, and wanted someone younger we have to remember the last 3 coaches averaged 4 years in their tenure at MU. So that puts KA at age 62. Not even full retirement age for Social Security

I'll count that as not on board.

Would anyone legitimately root against him?

I don't think anyone will do that, it's not his fault he got hired.

Probably not. But I'd guess someone would accuse me of it.

I support him, do not support the hire, Alden needs to have NO part in hiring Pinkel's replacement.

In. I've warmed up a lot to the idea since it was announced. Just hope he can recruit, but it is nice to know you have a coach who isn't constantly eyeing the door.

I will support him, especially if he can retain our two recruits.

I will not root against him, but am not expecting anything other than mediocrity. Maybe an tournament appearance here and there. But I will be surprised if he ever has a 25 win season.
