I'm going with Robin Pingeton linked to rural dog fighting operation.
Or a men's basketball player assaulting his girlfriend, sent to halfway house, goes to system president's house past curfew, gets in fourwheeler accident, sent to county jail, has embarrassing conversations with system prez's wife. OK, that's TOO far-fetched.
Sticking with dog fighting.

Several (let's go with 6) football players arrested for participating in prostitution / escort service arrangement with boosters wives. They claim they need extra money to make ends meet since they are not compensated as they should be. Case used as basis to begin paying players.

The football team goes on a hunger strike because Maty got dismissed......after a week Josh Augusta eats Drew Lock and the program shuts down.

I assume Clark is victim #1. Who's #2? Too bad one of his players isn't doing the shooting...I doubt they'd hit anyone.

Kim Anderson leads the way in the transexual movement and Mike Alden becomes her estranged husband. Meanwhile, 4 members of the basketball team admit that they are Muslim putting even a bigger outrage from the strong conservative citizens of Missouri making us have to bear even more jokes about our university everytime a link is posted on whatever social media platform it may be. Michael Sam then becomes the Defensive player of the year canidate next year but gets suspended for two seasons for pulling his pants down and attepting to make Tony Romo give oral after sacking him in week 16 live on the field during broadcast.

Tim Wolfe is investigated for his comments in his email. They did out that he is a drug load and Loftin was his puppet who got Mauk hooked on it and deals to all the football players. GP found out about it and backed the players in the protest to rid himself of Wolfe and Loftin.
