Doesn't sound like it to me...

I think the Kaepernick thing was tough with valid points on both sides. This is not tough. A hateful group demonstrated in big way and the President failed to give an easy response of hate not being tolerated. I don't think I really like Kaepernick sitting for his, but after this administrations response to recent event. I think it's time to sit.

I really question the tolerance, intelligence, and general level of social grace of those who use SJW as some sort of "witty" insult.

It's almost hilarious... It it were in any way original and actually made sense.

Good for Britt I'd say. A socially conscious NFL player.

As someone who strongly opposes most guys sitting for the anthem, this doesn't really bother me. He still stood, and this feels like he was trying to support his teammate more than trying to raise social awareness.

What I'm tired of are the extremes. One can disagree with you without thinking you're a Nazi. This entire country is so damn divided because we try to talk in such absolutes. One would think that the 2020 elections are literally Antifa versus Neo-Nazi parties. Reality is, thinking confederate statues should come down doesn't automatically make one part of the Antifa. Thinking the world is too PC doesn't automatically make on a Neo-Nazi.

It has become the mindless response.

I have always wondered about that term anyways. Like it's better to be a social injustice warrior? Social justice....is someone actually against that? I get the warrior part I suppose, if it is implying someone that goes to extremes (violence) to promote their cause.

What's wrong with raising social awareness in the first place? It doesn't mean you have to agree, but awareness is never a bad thing. In fact, its good after last weekend that we are aware how prevalent neo nazis are.

The take away I get is understanding as much as support. One can understand and still disagree. There is very little understanding going on in the world these days on all sides.

Just seems like a silly thing to be pissed off about.

Who cares about his politics or if he wants to display them...or not. Why give a frick?

He was a really good player for us. He represents us well in the NFL and keeps his nose clean.

He's good in my book

Preach, brother, preach. If you voted Democrat some folks think you are to the left of Lenin. If you voted Republican some people think you are a Nazi. Folks need to dial the political partisanship down a few notches.

I guess land of the free means land of the free to take a lot of shite if you don't continually pray to the flag.

I'll be the first to defend literalist with the 'SJW' comment. The SJW label all really started with the Michael Brown hands up, don't shoot case which was proven to be FALSE. Then the BLM movement started right here in Missouri which was founded upon black men being wrongfully shot by police compared to other races which has been proven to be FALSE.

I'm so sick of this racist agenda that liberals present which is that whites are evil and there's institutional racism. Please, name the institutions that are racist.

So yes, I condemn SJW culture because it's all based on flat out lies to make white people feel guilty for shite they've never done.

Oh, and regarding the other 10% that I haven't referenced: transgenderes have a mental illness and I'll never pretend that a he is she or vise versa. Gay marriage is legal in all 50 states as far as I'm aware which I fully agree with.

Everyone's accountable for their own decisions and to claim that racism is the primary downfall of other races, especially blacks, when white supremacists account for about 0.0002% of the population is absolute ludicrous.

End rant.

Britt takes a moment to realize that his life has been completely different than someone else's life.

After that moment of reflection he stands next to a teammate in solidarity.

He gets called stupid names.

Whatever. Walk a mile in another mans shoes and perspective can only be gained, not lost.
