First ever MLB game outside of Kauffman Stadium. Got to see the Cards demolish the Brewers! Almost saw a no hitter

1 hitter was still cool as hell though!

Wore my Royals jersey and hat. Good experience overall! Got two "Yeah Royals!/I'm a Royals fan" and only one negative remark so that was nice! Definitely will go back for another game sometime. Go Missouri!

Glad to hear you had a good time. What did you think of the stadium. Where were your seats?

Lower level, third base about 2/3 of the way to the outfield wall. Great seats and got them for just $12.50! One of the best deals I've gotten in a long time.

We have two great MLB ballparks here in Missouri. I talk with some Cards fans that havent been since its renovation or never and they look at me sideways when I tell them Kaufman is a top tier stadium experience.

Appreciate the compliment. Kauffman Stadium after the renovation is definitely a gorgeous ballpark! But I definitely enjoyed my first experience at Busch. I used to LOVE "old" Busch in the video games but never got to visit it unfortunately...the new one is gorgeous too though! I've only been to Kauffman and Busch now bit I have to imagine they're both in the uper-echelon of MLB stadiums. I had a blast cheering for the Cards today and will definitely come back to another game. Good luck in 2016 minus your 4 games against my Royals

And once again, Jaime Garcia's performance was incredible. Probably the best live starting pitcher performance I've ever witnessed. I was really pissed when the Brewers got their one hit

Just realized that I never really answered you on this part...

I thought it was great! The aesthetics were top-notch. I feel like it has a very classic "old-time" classic look, yet at the same time a very modern and clean appearance with a beautiful view of downtown STL and the arch. The concourse where we were sitting kind of reminded me of Faurot Field with the way you couldn't see the field from it, but that's not necessarily a bad thing considering most other stadiums' internals are probably the same way. But overall I would say it's a very good looking ballpark. Definitely among the best-looking in the MLB!

Glad you had a good time my friend.

I'm telling ya, I really don't get the STL/KC back and forth. I root for KC every year in the AL and the Cards in the NL. Unfortunately, we haven't held up our end the last 2 years. 2 fun teams to watch. 2 great ball parks. Hope we all end up there in the end.

It's all good....the Royals have failed to hold up their end much more than 2 years

Yup my buddy got the tickets on stubhub. All the other tickets in that price range were upper deck obviously but somehow he came across those 2 seats in the lower level @ $12.50 after fees and everything

I was there also with a bunch of friends from work. Great game.

We did an all-you-can eat/drink pregame and had a great time at the game.

There is a new HD scoreboard in RF now that was added before the season. We got one of the Legends suites last year and loved it. I would prefer some quirky dimensions or something else that makes it stand out, but it is a beautiful park. Royals and Cardinals don't play on a weekend this year, so I doubt I'll be able to go up your way later this year since I'm taking a new job soon.
