Sorry for not putting this in the recruiting thread, but this deserves its own.

The kid is gonna be a beast. I so hope that Taylor, Strong and Beckner are in his ear. I'm sure they are. He would be huge. I think will be more productive than DGB ever was.

He has the best HS WR film I've ever seen, and I'm not exaggerating.

I said that about Durron Neal as well, so what do I know...

I dunno man. He was doing stuff and had a body of a senior or college player as a freshman.

Let's hope he is tight with the guys he knows at Mizzou and they bring him home. Everyone will want this kid.

He is so much faster than everyone else it looks like he is not guarded 99% of the time. What happens when someone is actually fast enough to guard him? If you are that fast at the HS level, you don't need to finesse your other skills. I cannot tell from that film whether or not he will be good at the collegiate level. Don't understand why you all think he is the second coming.

Agree, it's a big step from HS to Power-5. He is fast which can be timed but not coached. I like the way he goes for the ball. He is too "right hand dominate". Has he ever used his left? Grades? Can he block???

He's listed at 5'10" so I assume he's 5'8", 5'9". I would love to see film of him running actual routes. Zone coverage is going to negate the straight line speed advantage, he's not tall enough to jump over defenders, so he's going to have to run accurate routes, probably from the slot.

Very talented kid, hopefully academics won't be an issue.

Like who?

Especially if he plays in the slot, which he likely will. He will flat out abuse any safety trying to cover him. He's Percy Harvin/Tavon Austin all over again.

I don't really see him being better than his HS competition as an indictment. All elite HS prospects are.

Take a breath. You just watched a sophomore in HS dominate his opponents.

Yeah, "he's too fast" is one of the weirdest knocks I've seen on a recruit.

And another good point. That was SO film. FWIW, he was dominating varsity as a FR as well.

He will be our new JMAC! With Lock in the picture, this will be Daniel to Maclin, 2.0. C'mon Jeff, Mizzou will let you showcase your talents

No one knows who will make it and who will flop at the collegiate level. Tell me a sophomore better though? If you have your option, don't you want the sophomore who is better than the other sophomore, and then hope he continues working to get better? Or do we prefer to take the worst of the two and hope the other one fails while ours improves?

He is no second coming. No one player makes a team. Get all of that. Still, the kid is talented. I recall either an article or a video showing him playing against some of the top talent in UPPER classmen at some camp and he was making THEM look foolish too. Also, ESL plays some of the top teams not just in the area, but they travel to Ohio or Texas or wherever to play top teams in the nation at least once or twice a year. So it's not like this kid is doing it against nobodies.

The kid runs good routes. I'm gonna have to find that camp video. He was beating some of the nations top defensive backs with double moves etc.

Was not a knock at all. All I am saying is that all I learned from the film is that he is really fast. Of course being fast makes you a better player, but I think that advantage is incredibly dramatic at the high school level. This kid probably only played against a few kids who will go D1

From the Rivals camp. Apparently he was named the MVP of the camp. Remember, he's a year or more younger than all the guys he's going up against. I recognize some of those names, not that Mizzou has offered them.
