KA has shown us absolutely nothing though. He hasn't signed good classes, almsot exclusively unranked 3* which obviously won't get it done at the P5 level. He must win this year to earn a 4th, it's as simple as that.

Honestly it would take 20 wins for me to be ok with KA being back after this next season but I don't see that happening. I had such high hopes for the three 4* players Anderson had handed to him in his first season. His inability to keep and develop those players is a travesty.

If Mizzou hires the right coach it will be a quick rebuild. Look at the 2018 & 2019 in state recruiting classes. There are a bunch of high level guys in those classes. If you expand that to guys that play AAU ball with the STL Eagles and MOKAN Elite it gets even better.

BINGO. Exact reason SLU brought in a recruiter.

I thought rebuilds take time.

Does KA and Golden St. coach Steve Kerr look like brothers(siblings)
I wish KA coached like Kerr!

They do take time, but with elite recruiting that amount of time can be whittled down to a year or 2. Without it, takes player development. Which takes 4-5 years to really see the difference.

Although it won't be public knowledge at that time, there may well be a new Mizzou head coach waiting in the shadows soon after the players take their last showers at the conclusion of next season.

Then, it will be hard to argue when the AD says, "We gave Kimbo 3 years and the progress just isn't what we'd hoped."

I just don't see that next season will be good enough...and a new coach will at least resurrect some fan interest.

Nope...it's shite or get off the pot time.

I agree. If KA can't at least be a .500 team in his 3rd year, I really don't see much hope after.

We are on self imposed sanctions. It's probably a bit of a tough sell...

I would be willing to bet we don't get any of them. They aren't going to do us any good if they are at Duke, Iowa, Kansas, SLU, and Illinois. We have to show we can actually recruit Missouri before we can field a team with several good Missouri kids on it.

We have had great kids in our own back yard-Jimmy Whitt and Michael Porter. Neither will ever play for us.

Yea that's a problem. The last big time in state recruit that chose Mizzou was Rush.
The last one that chose SLU was Hughes.
Local kids haven't stayed local. Some of that is just bad timing. Several of the top guys have been around when Mizzou was in turmoil, think Hansbrough, Porter, Porter, & Tatum.

Forget .500. I refuse to keep lowering my expectations because KA keeps sucking arse. 20+ wins and post season or get rid of him.
