At the Half, the Running backs had a total combined carries of 9. 9 f'in carries for the whole 1st half.
That is stupid, and shows how stupid these clowns are.
They will continue going into games thinking they can throw 50 yard bombs on every down, and run once every 3 series, and then dumbfounded when it doesnt work and they are losing by 27.

We run almost exclusively RPOs. That means, defensive alignments dictate if we run or throw.
Passing the ball obviously wasn't working though, so you have a point.

Mizzou runs a RPO offense.
Lock is to read the defense presnap and decide whether to run or pass.

He could have thrown that deep ball to Hall all day

The #1 RB is out. Using your dry powder at RB vs Idaho with 5 conference games left would be shitty coaching.

That's when you run your subs. ie. #4 Downing et al. Let your #2 or even #3 OL block. And burn clock and stay healthy.
But no, Heupel kept Lock in the game too late. Lock's stats are soooo frickin' padded by cupcakes it is pitiful.

Lock and Moore are now both top 10 in Mizzou history. Lock in passing yards, Moore in receiving yards.

If there was a football equivalent to empty calories in junk food this would be it.

Moore probably has the team record for drops

LOL, he's done so well of it, in SEC play.

They had 3 RBs available yesterday without burning a RS and an abundance of guys available at the other skill positions. Letting Lock throw at the #3s isn't a bad plan, either. There is plenty to bitch about, but it's on the other side of the ball.

Why are you so mad that we won?

You know why....he has no ammo to shite on BO this week

Downing is listed as the #3 TB on the chart. One injury away from burning the only RS you have at the position.

The one thing BO isn't afraid to do is burn a RS

Was Downing a walk on? If so, I have no problem burning his redshirt.

Downing is a walk on. I am glad he walked on; we can use him in the future; and might need him this season.
