even though I respected Kim as an individual, to have a coach that sounds like he demands respect, sounds professional and not like Kermit the Frog.

Guy seems like he wants to be here for the long haul. Kim Anderson was probably the most boring dude to ever coach at Mizzou. His cool factor was about 1/10, which means he's going to recruit no one.

I'm guessing everyone got a memo to not ask Porter questions. Not one news person brought up the question and you know it's the one they all wanted to ask.

He won the press conference. 
He comes off like a guy you would run thru a brick wall for. Players will love him and his ties to Gene Keady give him credibility.

The Porter question was brought up, but Martin said that the NCAA won't allow him to talk about recruiting.

His contract terms almost guarantee a year 4 unless he pulls a KAesque first three years.
