We are 6-41 against P5 schools with this "coach" at the helm. SIX P5 wins in TWO years. What in the serious frick?

The entire Mizzou fan base right now...

I was about to join in and sound off on Rhoades, but we should give the guy a chance. He literally just started his job a year ago.

I understand the Kim angst and I'm displeased with the progress, but the season hasn't even been over for 3 hours yet. We should give Rhoades at least a bit of leeway here

It's time for KA to go. No time like the present.

You're right. I'm just so eager to see Kermit gone. I fear that Mack won't do it. What 808bass said might very well come to fruition.

I'm torn on what to do with Kermit, but we aught to give Rhoades more than a couple hours to make the decision.

I'd say if Rhoades is gonna fire him, it will happen by Tuesday.

Might be a good idea to see what sanctions NCAA hands dow. If they give us even more restrictions, it will vastly impact the kind of coach you get.

Do you want change for change's sake now or prolonged success?

It's not really "change for change's sake" at this point.

But I agree you need to hire a possible long-term answer. Not a Romar.

The only way KA is fired is if Rhodes has his guy. Which I'm not sure will happen.

There was some improvement this year. Mizzou finished 42 spots higher in KenPom.

Next year Mizzou will have to finish in the KenPom top 100 to get a 4th year.

We haven't really improved that much.

The fact we had to hire KA last time makes me less than optimistic that we can go out and make a big hire at this point. Program in worse shape, and the possibility of more NCAA trouble coming down.

Makes me more apt to support another year to see if these guys can take a big step forward under KA

According to KenPom we have.
Defense is worse, offense is better.

A vast majority don't follow KenPom.

A vast majority can see with their eyes that the product on the floor wasn't much better than last year, if not worse, regardless of what KenPom says.

If it wasn't for Rosburg deciding to do what I wish would have clicked for him 2 years ago, our record would be worse too.

Even with the KenPom improvements it was still a bad team.

Thank you.

19-44 in 2 years, says it all..

We finished the season

Points per game 275th
Rebounds 196th
Assists 285th
Points allowed 208th

What improvement there were, was minuscule. KenPom or no KenPom

Will we be stuck with KA another year? Probably. Sad times continue. He's not the answer.

Yea there are lots of coaches that I would take over KA. Problem is there are a ton of problems around the team/university that probably make it harder to land any of them.

1. No permanent university leadership
2. Pending NCAA infractions ruling
3. APR problems for 2 more years. Until Haith's last year comes off the books.
4. The current team needs lots of help.

I think next year most of those problems will be in a better situation to lure a better coach in than we can get this year.

We're building more APR problems. Haith's last year coming off isn't going to be the end. Payne, Clark and Allen are all going to count against us this year.

We will lose points for Payne & Allen, but not Clark.

It's wierd how the NCAA calculates it. But since he was dismissed in the first 5 weeks of the semester he won't count against the APR.

This year the APR is expected to be close to 950 from what I have read. The 851 from a couple seasons ago that's dragging the 4 year average down and a concern.

I disagree. I think we were better. There were 10+ games where we were buried by one awful stretch, but played a legitimate game the rest of the way. Most of the time it was bad starts, and the team was quite young. Puryear, Walton and Phillips all look promising. Wright can score and Gant has his moments. Van Leer is a much better shooter than what he showed. Needs to start translating that to games.

In other words, I think there is some hope going forward.
