If I told you we win 9 per season over the next 10 years, would you take it?

Lsu and Georgia just fired two coaches who did better then that for longer than 10 years. If you told me today, we would win 90 games over the next ten years I would take it to the bank. These two programs are going to regret firing Richt and Miles.

Not if we had the talent that LSU and UGA had.

This is key. With our talent? I'd take that all day long. With their talent? I would have expected some very top notch bowls and conference championships along the way.

LSU had a national championship, played for another. Also had a couple conference championships. Miles and LSU also played in several big bowls.

Exactly. Mizzou would not have fired Les. Or Mark Richt. BUT. If they believed it was time for a different direction, they would have finished out the year and tried to transition him into a different role with the University. Those coaches were both long-time guys who loved their schools and were absolute class acts. They would have treated him differently, I believe.

Miles was a poor game day coach and always badly under performed on offense. Had good defensive teams. LSU can do better. They also can do worse

and I'm glad we have wiBO

Only if our WAR and OPS is above league average.

Stats aren't always important.

Richt didn't have the killer fire to take Georgia over the top. He's a good college football coach, probably better suited for a program like Mizzou than Georgia.

Les was nothing more than a mascot. He in fact is a joke of a human. Nice guy. But total clown show.

Both Georgia and LSU bring in 4 stars with zero effort. The best players want to go to those schools.

These takes on Les and Richt require human elements that aren't found on a stat sheet.
