If you don't care to discuss the subject matter of the OP, then why in the frick are you even in the thread?

Seriously dude, just quit responding to me. It's getting old. I'm not sure how I got so under your skin without even trying but maybe just take a step back and find a different outlet for your anger. If you can't make a post without including several personal attacks then don't make them.

If you don't like me. Ignore me. You should have learned that in elementary school. I'm not interested in some internet feud.

Disagree. He should have said "I support my players, but I've got a game to coach and will with the players on hand". And then made it clear there would be no suspension of scholarships or the like for those who chose not to play.

He would have been able to support his players without appearing to have taken sides with the protesters.

I hear you, but perception defines reality in my opinion. I personally think that the visual of seeing the majority of your black players not on the field would have caused so much turmoil during the news cycle. I can only imagine the flack we would have caught by a movement such as black twitter after something like that.

Once again these are just my thoughts on the subject though.

You're right. They probably wouldn't have been able to field a team

I'd like to think there wouldn't be group think on an issue with facts as sketchy as this one was, but I'm being naive.

Hell, I still wonder why the two people who's death sparked the protests here locally were both seen on video tape committing crimes and attempted to kill policemen, yet the cops lives didn't matter. But whatever. It's all bullshite. I remember back when people, despite their differences, actually got along and there wasn't a class of professional shite disturbers. It's a sad state of affairs.
