What did you want him to say....."that all these players suck?" They do, but you can't say it out loud!

Spoken for the benefit of the players, I'd say.

Lol Barry and Heupel are done. Barry truly has no idea what this team is or how to motivate them.

Execution is all coaching Barry, and your team is maybe the worst I've ever seen.

There's not much the coaches can say at this point. Either they know how to fix the issues the team has, or they don't. If they know how to fix it, BO will be back. If not we get to go through another coaching search in December.

No. I expect them to lean on the positional strength of the TE room with the #1 RB out. They had a mismatch on the seam all day and the best blocking back taking primary carries. They didn't need to keep everyone in for protection against pressure that wasn't coming and keep making throws at the widest part of the field to a guy that has terrible hands.

Unless that says Moore has been benched, IDGAF.

You obviously didn't read what he said. He explained all of that! Purdue would show pressure then back out of it. To compensate for the pressure, they chose to keep the TE in to block. Of course, he could have sent them out in the pattern, but then Lock would have been sitting on his butt and wouldn't have got the ball to them!

That isn't what he said at all.

quote:

“A couple of them were reads,” he said. “We had some things built in with our (tight ends) in some spread sets. We were in some gap protection this week because of the multiple pressures they showed on tape. He ended up not bringing a lot of that pressure. But going into it he showed a bunch. So they weren’t targeted as much. Our run game wasn’t going as it typically does, so some of the play-action passes for those guys weren’t primary thoughts as the game unfolded.”

They never adjusted after not getting the expected looks.

Carry on.

Pretty much and the defense never got off the field. Ballgame.
