Good Luck Royal Fans

Growing up in St. Louis the Cardinals have been to the WS 10 times in my lifetime and are 5-5. The playoffs NEVER get old for Cardinal fans. We know we are going back and we know we are going to win again. Like Bama and Patriots fans. Been a long long time for KC and I hope they make the most of it. Good Luck !!!

If I were to back hand troll I would have said 6-4 in the WS in my lifetime. We know where that extra win came from.

With the Athletics throwing Lester as us, We'll need all the well wishes we can get. I think the Royals players we have are still growing. Don't think they have hit their ceiling yet. Nothing to loose, let it all hang out!

Lester is untouchable to us...especially with our lack of power or plate discipline (only team in MLB history to make the postseason despite finishing last in HR's and Walks).
Winning the first wildcard is progress, but unfortunately I have to imagine the ride ends tomorrow night on the arm of Lester.
Need to re-bolster the rotation for next year and find at least an average 3rd basemen and DH in the offseason if we want to contend again next season.

You don't have to beat Lester. You have to outlast Lester. BUT, that means better at bats early. Work his pitch count up. May mean having to scratch out at bats with 2 strikes. Go up free swinging and you're playing into his game.

Me too! My wife grew up (and still is a Cardinals fan), but I'm taking her tonight for her Birthday present. She hit me with a "what's the big deal about the playoffs? Good teams go all the time" a couple of times - but she's just trolling IRL
I grew up a Cardinals fan, but being in Arkansas, I never really got to see them play. I still have an autographed Ozzie Smith baseball in glass on my dresser.
