Is it going to be all youngsters coming in and taking over? Any of the returners? Transfer? MPJ is obviously one of them. So who do you think?

MPJ
Barnett
Robertson

I had a hard time with the last one. A youngster like JP or JT? A returner like Puryear? Ending up going with the transfer because if he's as good shooting the 3 as people claim, he'll get plenty of looks as teams focus on MPJ and co.

I haven't seen enough of Robertson to know what to predict. All I know is he's a good 3 point shooter.

I'll go with MPJ, Barnett, and Puryear.

Barnett is going to be a key piece next year IMO. Senior with a lot of talent, if he does well I think the team does well.

I was really tempted to say Puryear. I'm just afraid his minutes get cut from what he's played in the past. At least if JP and JT are nearly as good as people say.

Puryear

Is like Tim Tebow when he shoots; takes 15 seconds to get a shot off.

Mine: Tilmon, MPJ & hopefully Barnett

Tilmon only averaged 15 a game in high school. He might lead the team in rebounding.
Puryear will play less, but his efficiency will go up enough that his average doesn't go down much.
I would go MPJ, Barnett and Robertson.
Phillips, Puryear, Jontay and Tilmon all average between 6-10 a game as secondary scorers.

The reason I picked Tilmon to lead is I think he'll be a rebounding machine; I think he'll get a lot of put backs PLUS few if any bigs can run with him.

I'm skeptical that Tilmon will be that type of scorer in year 1. Although in the intro video Mizzou posted on twitter Tilmon was hitting 3's.

This should be the best rebounding team since Bowers and AO.

Phillips has a good chance at leading the SEC in assists. He had the top assist rate last season, I believe. His stat line will be interesting to watch this year. I'm thinking something like; 8 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds

I watched some ESL game tapes on the youtube and Tilmon has a problem of making stupid fouls because of his temper and has a good chance of being in foul trouble in most games. If teams box him in he get's frustrated and plays out of control. He's going to have to learn to play with some discipline and control.

A game against Edwardsville and Mizzou offer guard Mark Smith:

I really think MPJ and JB will be averaging about 15+
I think TP will be the next closest at 10, with a handful of guys right around 8-10
