from the time he took over to today. Just three. This isn't a bashing KA thread but I am really trying to understand what a certain few are seeing in KA that I'm not seeing.

W/L is worse.
Recruiting is worse.
Kids still getting suspended.
Kids still smoking weed.
Shooting hasn't improved.
Rebounding hasn't improved.
Defense hasn't improved.
Ball handling might be slightly improved.

Just three things.

Is smoking weed really a bad thing?

It's nonsense that it's still illegal.

The only thing that's really better is frontcourt play. The problem with that is Rosburg will be a big loss.

Ryan Rosburg

For the last few games. Before that, it would have taken him 10 games to score as many points as he had against UT.

I suppose I can give ya that one. I suppose. I don't see how that's translated into improvement on the court nor in my viewing enjoyment.

Not even close. Yet.

The smoking of weed isn't that bad of a thing.

The inability to have the discipline to abide by the rules, whatever they might be, is a bad thing.

Is it? I recall about 20 games where that wasn't the case. If Rosburg keeps this up the rest of the way, I'll agree. I do appreciate him sticking with it for 4 years through the craziness.

Frontcourt play is only better in that as the season winds down there are 2 consistent frontcourt players. Last year there was 1.

Puryear is now 10th on the Mizzou freshmen scoring list. Looks like he will end up somewhere between 4-6.
He's really done well the last few games playing second scorer to Rosburg.

As a side note a J3, Puryear, Rosburg frontcourt would have been a real strength.

Things that have improved under Anderson?

1. Much less work for Mizzou Arena janitorial staff.

2. Less congestion in the areas around Providence and Stadium.

3. "Anderson" is easier to spell than Haith/Hiath/Hathe.

4. Increased willingness of other schools to schedule games with Missouri.

5. SEC basketball bottom-dwellers move up a notch.

6. Fewer bothersome NBA scouts and pro agents pestering the players.

I really find nothing has improved under KA. Great guy but way over his head.

Is that true for Pearl? His team at Auburn this year is worse than what he inherited.

I'm not even saying that KA will even be able to recover and turn Mizzou around. Just that I am willing to give him 1 more year. In that year he needs to win more games, & land some 2017 recruits that give hope for the future.

Pearl can recruit and coach on the D1 level. KA has shown up he can't. I think he loses a couple players this year as well. Next year could get worse and we are not getting any stud recruits. He may bury us so far it will take years to get back to .500 ball. Horrible hire.

2. bitchin' about the prior BB coaches.

Summary: World-class bitchin'.

All-Conference bitches: Guys who start and bitch in threads like this one after a good win.

I guess I just haven't reached that definitive position. Some days I want KA gone some I think that if he can land 1-2 guys this spring that he can save his job, and the future of the program.

KA will be easily better than Haith, and will be here long enough to make that happen. Feel free to bookmark

Hope you're right but he better start showing improvement fast. I think the women's team is now out drawing the men's.

The minute KA wins 30 games in a season, I will bump your post.

Old definition of "good win:" a win against a tournament team, a top 25 team or a rival.

New definition of "good win:" a win.
