Really hard loss to swallow...gonna take a few days to forget about it.

But honestly, i'm really encouraged for the future. We're only three games in, and we're already much better than we were against WVU. If we can win 6-8 games this year, I honestly think that next year, we can have an 07 or 2013 type of year.

And I think Odom is the guy to bring us there consistently . I'm weirdly optimistic here

Preach on brother. We will win the sec east next year or the year after. This team and staff is legit.

Will be hard to get to 6 wins now. I like this team, but we are very mistake prone.

5-7 is certainly a possibility.

But we shouldn't lose to MTSU, South Carolina, Vandy, Delaware State or Kentucky.

And Arkansas, Tennessee, LSU and Florida don't look unbeatable.

We shouldn't, but just to make a bowl we have to win all of those games (which is probably a tall order for a team that makes so many mistakes) AND pull an upset.

Looks like a tough road and that's just to get to 6-6. Maybe this team pulls it together and goes on a run, but that's hard to envision right now.

Mizzou is going to beat at least one of these teams.

The play calling in the last 10 mins was beyond stupid. High risk passes when 5 more yards and a field goal would have sealed the game, followed by 10 mins of playing it ultra safe and getting no where. First time I've been pissed at this staff.

really hope it's not a pattern. Playing to protect a small lead is a great way to lose and just wimpy

There were short routes run, Lock was just zeroed in on Moore in the second half.

Yepp. Kept telling my son, if we don't take advantage of the missed FG's and extend this to a 2 score lead, we will lose this game. Hopefully the staff learns as much from this as the players.

After watching Barry in his press conference, I think this is the case. He took responsibility, and his sincerity shone through. They got way too conservative in the 2nd half, and made some inexplicable decisions. And just let Georgia hang around until they took it from us. Georgia also changed up their coverages in the 2nd half, and I don't know if Lock was too cocky, or couldn't read it - but 5 TOs won't lead to many wins, especially in the SEC. Fortunately, I think that's something that can be corrected.

In future contests...If it's again, a critical time in the game, 3rd and eleven, and they run Witter up the middle...

Well, I guess I don't know what the frick I'll do. But I'll do something.
