With this recruiting class seemingly wrapped up except for Marvin Terry. What are your expectations for the Tigers in '16? I'm going on the record and say we win 9 games with a bowl win!!

I think 8 wins if we're lucky. we have a tough schedule next year on the road at wvu and lsu are going to be very tough. and only 3 cupcake games this year instead of 4. thank god scar hired muschamp. that's the most winnable conference game.

All dependent on Drew Lock progression and the offensive line. Defense should be nasty and keep us in most of every game.

@West Virginia - No Clue, but will clear up expectations. Tough place to play at either way. A win and I think we go 9-3 with losses to LSU, Tennessee, and pick one more. A close loss and I think we are looking at about 7 or 8 wins. Blowout loss and bad news 5 wins.

If the Offense looks good and we win at WV, we win 10. Lose at WV because the offense still needs a lot of work...we win 8.

I'd say 7-5 is realistic. Still a lot of question marks on offense. I wish the West Virginia game was pushed back to Week 3 or 4 with some warmup games to start the season.

UWV doesn't scare me and here is why. They are an Air Raid offense which can be a problem but it's gonna be hard to be effective if your QB can't get the ball off if he is on his back. They have to stop Brady, Brantly jr, Agusta and Harris. The secondary will be fine. Our offense is gonna feature some power run game with Strong and Crockett leading the way and have Abbington as a 3rd down back. Our TE's will have a bigger role. This recruiting class is a huge indication of what we wanna do. Wear guys down with the run game till Lock is comfortable to pick them apart. They went out and got WR that can catch the damn ball till the you guys can. Simms is already saying that MU wants him to be a Guard. So we know the line his gonna be big and nasty, instead of nice guys. I'm calling it right now MU beats LSU 17-10 on the swamp.

Defense will be better than last year.

But on offense, the O line somehow needs to improve, and if that happends the RB's need to be better, and if that happens I know for a fact Lock will be much better.

7-5 is my pick. You lose to Arkansas, but I am an Arkie, and show a more physical team in the East. You beat the usual suspects and take one (possibly two) from Florida, Vols, and Georgia. 8-4 is easily in reach.

Better then that? Well it is in reach. Georgia has a new coach. The Vols don't have a great record against winning teams. Florida looked very hum drum after they lost their QB. USCe is recovering from a meltdown, Kentucky finds ways to lose, and Vanderbilt is Vanderbilt.

I am not saying reserve your hotel suites for Atlanta, but Mizzou can certainly make a run for the East next year.

3rd or fourth in the east (prob 4th). Unless the new staff can pull some magic trick with the Oline and WR.

Anything better than 7-5 would require them to really exceed what they have on paper

at West Virginia - toss up
Eastern Michigan - win
Georgia - loss
Delaware State - win
at LSU - loss
at Florida - loss
Middle Tennessee - win
Kentucky - toss up
at South Carolina - win
Vanderbilt - win
at Tennessee - loss
Arkansas - loss

5-7? 6-6? 7-5? Offense is unknown. It all depends upon the OL and the passing game. Can the OL and WR's block??? D will be salty. Maybe we can steal a game from the lizards?

LSU is "Death Valley". UF is the Swamp. Either way you're right, we win.

So you think Crockett won't redshirt then. That would say a lot about him. Simms is only one guy, the rest of the OL has to step up too. I do like Simms and Howell's size though. I wouldn't mind seeing Howell block FG attempts this year.

I do like the shift to more power running though. How many starters does West Virginia return on offense?

What will be Arkansas's record this year? Who is your new QB?

I knew it was Death Valley and not the Swamp but the whole state is a swamp. Idk if Simms starts or not but I like his size and the way he plays. The fact that they didn't load up on O-Line tells me that Ellerby sees something in technique that he can fix. I don't see the RB that we need on the roster right now to do what we want to do unless the guys take a huge step. I think right now Strong and Crockett are the best backs we have. I look for WR's Black and Collins to be contributors right away, while the younger guys get better under Hill. I think Heupel will get Lock back on track.

I just read that its possible Utsey moves to OG. can someone answer 1 question. Lee moved to ILB to back up Schrer. Why 2 large bodied ILBs, especially guys that aren't necessarily thought of as top recruits.

He doesn't seem that fast. Maybe Biesel plays some FB? assuming Biesel moves to offense, that still puts 4 ILB on the roster. Just seems a little heavy.

Lee was a 4 star LB recruit. I think that's the highest rated recruit from that group. Lee or Hall probably take the spot that was Brothers this year.

Sorry, I meant why did we sign 2 more large bodied ILBs this year. When Odom moved Lee to ILB the depth chart was Scherer, Lee, Biesel. Now they've added 2 more ILB projects?
