I'm all for this guy. Slowly gotten Cal turned around at a place where it's not easy to win and it's gotten tougher with higher admission standards put in place 2 years ago.
His offense will score points no doubt about it. Our defense will already be good so that side of the ball i taken care of.
I really think he's the best of the known realistic candidates.

Dykes is a non story.
They said he interviewed a lot of people today, why is Dykes the one that keeps coming up?
Bobo is probably the best name that's been out there, but his buyout is high as shite. I'm pretty sure that school makes more money on buyouts than concession sales.

Someone on TB said he was interviewed as OC, not HC. I can't imagine that has any truth to it.

His resume argues program builder. His records and recruiting results are similar to Pinkel. I believe Pinkel has raised this program to the point where it's ready for someone to take it to the next level, not hire someone to continue the status quo.
Dykes supposedly wants out of Cal bad. Think he realizes he has hit the ceiling there (tough competition, big academic standards, probably losing his star QB). I think his agent is keeping the MU talk going for his benefit.
May want to talk to him about the OC position, if he's up for that.

Dykes doesn't run the ball. His offense would get smashed in the SEC. We need to stay as far away from him as possible for any type of job.

Yea I agree. At this point it has to be someone from a game this weekend. I think Fedora just makes too much damn sense. SEC ties, UNC scandal, Chizik is an SEC guy, etc.

This is false. His offense averaged 155 yds rushing this year. Had a 1,000 yard rusher last year.
