Well the good news is that a lot of the SEC East teams have anemic offenses so if you can get them into a shootout Missouri has more weapons.

Why is it not surprising? This team has no athletes in the secondary, lost its good LBs and DL. Nothing made me think this defense would be better. I've been saying all offseason we have to win shootouts this year.

It's surprising because Odom is a defense based coach.
You expect some level of improvement, even if it's slight.
They seem to have regressed.
I don't think BO is cut out for this gig, it's looking like Kim Anderson all over again.

Another convert. I said he was KA 2.0 halfway thru last year and since. All I got for that was grief from those naively bullish on BO. Perhaps now you wont get the same reaction.

Yeah BO is in way over his head. How a defensive minded coach could have no clue or answer for this pathetic play is beyond me. Embarrassing. If he doesn't show vast, and I mean vast improvement the rest of the season he needs to go.

It's really quite bizarre how much the defense looked like those hype videos
And the next time a hear a member of this coaching staff say a player had a really good camp I'm going to assume he meant said player partied their arse off and had a real good time

I know I am a Mizzou alumnus and fan but there has to be some reason why the "D" looked that bad. BO isn't the best coach but he's better than this. The players are better than this. Something isn't right.
