Despite the results, I do like the basketball players.

I think they have decent talent, and they do seem to like Mizzou.

Which is why it would be criminal for Mizzou to not get them a legitimate D-1 head coach so they can realize their talent and achieve their best for Mizzou.

Let's make this happen for Mizzou!

There's some nice guys in there.

There's many guys who should not be on our roster. They will be processed by a new coach.

Subtle.

Nice.

I'm ultimately in camp-fire, but seems funny to hate on a guy who brought in some decent guys and fire him because they're not performing while they're the youngest team in the country.

Imagine if a football team had some nice recruits and the team was the youngest in the country, and the coach was fired. It would be irresponsible.

But there are other factors. KA is old. Other issues. If you can improve you make the move.

Lots of good complimentary parts. Needs to add a go to player or 2.

The kids that Kim brought in that only got other offers from SEMO will be processed. We need some P5 D-1 athletes. I don't care how much they enjoy the program. I want to win.

I'd say 3

Two wing scorers and a real big man

I'm not convinced Nikko will ever be better than Rosburg of his FR and SO years.

You ever seen the movie That Thing You Do?

In it, a band writes a really catchy song. A local guy finds them and signs them to represent them locally. Eventually they get so much attention a big time label comes calling, represented by a manager played by Tom Hanks (who also directed the movie).

Hanks wants to sign them to the big label, but the band wants to remain loyal to their local guy.

The local guy convinces them to sign with Hanks. He knows he can only take them so far, and a real professional has the ability to take them to their limit.

That's what Kim Anderson needs to do. Resign his position and hand off the team to a legitimate coach that can take them to the next level.

When Hughes is a senior, if Mizzou has a starting lineup that looks like

G: Roberts
G: Hughes
G: Watson, he was at the game today
F: Smith
And either a legit big or a really good wing fans will be back.

I've said exactly that -- that he knew this would be a short term gig.

It's like you're purposely ignorant.

Almost Famous. Same thing.

No, he doesn't know that.

And he's failed even more spectacularly than anyone imagined.

What KA supporters say about what Haith left behind... it's even worse now.

Bad attitudes are one thing. Now the team just expects to lose. They are quitting.

That's measurably untrue. No recruiting violations. No pimp-daddy b.s going on behind the scenes. I won't bother with the meta stuff, I know you only like to look at a stat sheet.

Please..

You've been disingenuous and manipulative over the last couple days talking with me. People aren't going to agree with each other, they're gonna say mean things, but the certain type of coercion and purposeful ignorance you've shown is a sign of the lowest kind of character.

No respect for that kind of thing.

Roberts is signed, but yea. It is 3 seasons from now.

I think Jackson and Nikko will be solid depth guys.

Um.. The basketball program is on probation for recruiting violations that happened during the Haith time.

Which is in line with his past behavior at Miami.
