Interesting choice for sure.
Thomas Voss was an Ameren exec. Formerly #439 on Forbes Richest list.
Mary Nelson has been on Missouri Highway and Transportation commission....looks like she was going to be appointed back in 2014, but apparently that never came to fruition. Edit: was rejected by legislature for "too many lawyers"

What is their job description? Oversight to the decisions of Chancellor? Hiring?

Highest people in the University system. Hiring/Firing of everyone runs through them, including athletics. If it is important, they have a hand in it

The next meeting is in a couple of weeks. The will be approving the budget for the next fiscal year. All 3 appointees with have full voting rights in that meeting. Hopefully they are approving the contract of a new baseball coach as well.

I would doubt that. They may be approving any buyout of TJ's contract, opening the door for MR to start interviewing
