Crockett hast 837 yards on the year and 9 TDs. Has a chance to break 1000 yards and 10 TDs. That's only happened 8 times in school history, and I believe Brad Smith was the only FR to do it. If DC can do it he'd be the only FR RB in school history to achieve that feat.

Thank goodness Micah Wilson recruited him.

Imagine if they actually gave him the ball.

That run before the end of the 1st half was a thing of beauty. I have been watching Mizzou football since 1969 and I have never seen a Mizzou rb with those many moves on a running play.

How many carries do you want him to have?

He's had multiple 20 carry games.

He is fun to watch. He could be a beast next year. If he was a little quicker it wouldn't hurt either.

Wubi,

You know very well the coaches favored Ish Witter the first half of the season even though it was clear Crockett was better.

His carries have followed his growth in blocking his position in pass protection.

And they still will run Witter on the goal line.

The situational choices are sometimes more of an issue than the numbers.

The coaches pretty clearly rotate possessions among Witter and Crockett. Wintter's numbers this year are solid for a number 2.
If Strong can break out next year, then the running game should be really good.

Since 2012 the RB position recruiting and production hasn't been very good.

Bruce Walker lost Jonathan Allen to Arkansas late in the process and MU ended up with Hansbrough and Steward. Steward was one unfortunate event after another but Hansbrough ended up being a gem.

In 2013 Chase Abbington committed early in the year and Urban Meyer gave Stacy Elliott a house and a job in Columbus. Abbington ended up at JUCO and couldn't get on the field when he got to Columbia.

In 2014 they landed Walters and Witter. Walters was supposed to develop into a center piece and Witter was recruited to help open some more doors in Tampa. Walters got the boot and Witter is what he is.

2015: Abbington arrives on campus out of shape and struggles with the play book. Ryan Williams hasn't seen the field yet.

2016: Strong and Crockett have the potential to be a great one two punch provided Strong can earn the touches.

The guy that ran the RB room during those years is coaching in Fayette MO.

We also failed to score twice inside the 5 because of their refusal to give their best player on offense the ball.

I don't see it that way.
Lock missed an open Mason by throwing way behind Him and getting the ball knocked down.
Then Abeln had a terrible snap that caused a fumble.

Killz there were 2 reasons for this: Ish could block & Crockett had ball security issues.
