I think that he might help Mizzou on the football side by showing the Fab 10 football recruits from the state all the love and hype that they can get by staying home. Especially the top 5 at least. I want all 10 and I could settle for 9 of them.

OMFinG. Please stop your insanity or perhaps ur just trolling. If you are seriously that delusional regarding what Uncle BoBo can pull out of his recruiting arse you need to seek help. Could start with reading the National Recruiting Safety Bureau's bulletin which I previously posted. Good luck and may God protect your ever hopeful but delusional nutsack from the kick to the groin that you apparently are holding your hands in the air and spreading your legs to receive.

I think we'll be lucky to get any 5.

We all jab one another from time to time and some of it is entertaining, but again, if it's all just name calling and no contribution at any time, well it won't last long.

A lot of the football players and this year's recruits have been tweeting about how hyped they are about Porter coming to the Zou. Miracles do happen and Mizzou is due a few.

I do second your emotion about being due. Just keeping my MUFB optimism buried down cognitively so heart does not suffer excessively if and when it does not occur. My mind has set the over at 3 for number of top 10 home grown talent and if a "miracle" occurs maybe 1 of the top 2-3 national top 100 senior players in Missouri.

It can't hurt. And if we get five that would be very successful by our standards.

I think it's does help, but we aren't getting all 10 or even close. I think 6+ and we've done quite well

You could be right zou. It seems like mizzou is mentioned much more on st louis airwaves. That is a constant reminder to those in the stl that mizzou is serious under sterk.

Maybe it only factors in by one more of the fab 10, but that is one more.

If you are looking for a player to help with football in state recruiting it could be Drew Lock. If he can be a high draft pick and not a NFL bust.

This is not short term fix it is a long term recruiting fix especially in the KC area.

I think it has and will. I've been out and about all week and seen tons more people than normal in missouri gear, tried talking to as many as I could, everyone is hyped. Couldn't hurt. in stl btw.

Having the programs pulling and selling for each other will never be a bad thing for the athletic department.

Yes. Bringing recruits into an amped-up full house at Mizzou Arena could only help.

The best tool remains Heupel's offense piling up points like cord wood while BO completes a defensive makeover.
