won't be missed

Down two scores and you Punt with ~6 minutes to go, now you won't get the ball back.

Fitting way to go out

I know we have to be nice because of his health, but WTF was that decision?

If the HC won't play to win, its no wonder why the assistants are shite. I hope he beats the shite out of cancer, but this coaching style is a lost cause.

You know, I'm typically very critical of Pinkel, but I have no problem with that call.

He's operating with one of the worst offenses in Mizzou history. The odds of his defense getting a 3 and out after a punt are infinitely greater than his offense picking up a 4th and 6 in our half of the field.

I hated the punt too.Especially when he went on 4th down twice the previous series.Thank God there is only one more game left.

Absolutely. That was his white flag. When you have a chance, however slight, to keep progressing, but think it's impossible to gain 5 yards and give them the ball...that's surrendering.

We were averaging 3.75 yard/play and that was with .43 pass completion and the longest rush was by Lock at 11 yards. Why the frick would Gary trust our offense to get a first down on 4th and 5?

I think the chances of getting a quick 3 and out, or possible turnover were way better.

3 and out and then what?

You still have to drive the ball down the field. He was massaging the score, which is very disappointing in his last home game.

That was exactly when I got up and walked out of the stadium. White flag...pitiful.

He acknowledged it was the wrong call in his post-game interview on radio.

GP has never been a great game-time coach.

No way around it that was really bad. 3 and out and what u get the ball back with 3 minutes to score twice.... rather than getting 5 yards at that point is just silly.

Down 11 points with 6:15 to play, Pinkel is punting on fourth and 5. That’s simply ludicrous.
