Confirmed: Odom will be sitting in the box rather than on the field like Stec

Yup.

He'll be able to see the field and plan adjustments better.

I liked that Stec was on the field. We've had some damn good defenses lately.

If Odom is gonna go to the box, there need to be some strong personalities (Kul, Walters, Ford) on the field as well.

I don't really have a preference.

But Odom seems like the kind of guy you want on the sidelines.

Hopefully he will be on Mizzou's sideline as head coach in 2022.

Odom seems like much more of a Xs and Os tactician than Stec. He's a quiet, stoic guy. He is pretty different from Stec.

Different ways to skin a cat.

Odom is a strong personality, which is nice to have on the sideline.

Instant accountability when you have to look in his eyes as you come off the field.

He's more even keel than Stec, yes. But that doesn't mean that he doesn't belong on the sideline.

I'm good either way.

Just seems like the kind of guy you want in your foxhole, in this case the sideline is the foxhole.

This......Odom is much more analytical than Steck but whatever works is good with me.

I would prefer him coaching in a helicopter that flies just above our defense and shoots off fireworks every time we make a solid play.

Just my 2 cents.
