I honestly thing Chase is a better quarterback than Alex Smith. I really really do. The only thing Smith has an advantage on is physical attributes.

Chase Daniel follows that up with a 78 yard TD drive capped by another WR touchdown pass...something Alex Smith hasn't done since 2013.

I would love to see Chase with the first team offense. Maclin, Kelce, Charles, etc. Honestly think he could do better than Smith.

I agree Smith has really nothing on Chase as a QB, it is a shame he will probably never get a chance to be a #1.

Smith makes 17M per year. Daniel makes 3M per year. Chase is an arguably better QB than Smith. Chiefs could make a lot happen with the extra 14M they are wasting on Smith.
Agreed. Chase has to be one of the best QB's ever to have never been a starter. It's a shame because the only thing holding him back is the fact that he isn't a prototypical physical specimen of QB. If he was 3 inches taller he would easily be a starter.

So do I.Reed loves his veterans though.He stuck with McNabb for a long time after he tailed off.Probably going to take Smith getting hurt for Daniel to see extensive time.How is Morse looking?

That's all the same BS that got Gabbert drafted in the 1st round. I wish that teams would actually play "players" and not "immeasurables". There is so much more to being a QB than your height.

Hurts Chase as he was undrafted, Smith gets a pass as the #1 Pick which is BS, one of the reasons the NFL pisses me off.

Morse looked alright. He only played 2-3 series, but he did his job. No major mistakes but there were a few snaps where his man beat him and hurried the QB though. Not a bad outing though.

Chase just needs one good chance like Kurt Warner. He may not get it, but I hope he does.
