Since we lost wr Brown to the Nubs how many of you would like this kid at Mizzou instead? He's a recent Mizzou offer.

This kid is better than Brown and I think will have a better future. Great moves and not easy to tackle.

As many of you know I have been on the St Louis Post Dispatch Mizzou forum for 8 years and have 12500 plus comments and have followed Mizzou since I was 14 years old then followed recruiting since 1968 18 years old and during those years I have heard the greatest class speech many times, its sells newspapers and Star Magazines.

Honestly I see about 8 really quality guys in Missouri this year, there might be more, but I like this kid, he has moves and speed, can't teach that.

Brother and I were discussing the Carson and Brown kids. Wondered if they have been reading all the "MO 10" headlines and were expecting to be recruited like 5-star recruits. They are good players, but they are not the prospects the guys in the top 5 are.

Welcome to the Rant. The main SEC Rant is a bit of cesspool but the team pages aren't that bad.

And it could be much worse then 8 quality guys when it comes to the SEC. It could be the dreaded 8 quality guys... 5 of which are already committed outside the state. Its happened before in this conference and the results usually aren't pretty.

I've always said that Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, and to a lesser extent the Tennessee schools have to keep the talent at home if they want to compete in the SEC. Do that and poach some kids from out of state and you have a shot.

How are this kid's hands? Missouri had some problems with dropped balls last year and I know that cost y'all in a couple of games. When we lost Hunter Henry, our big TE, to the NFL it really took away our passing safety blanket of the guy that always caught what was thrown to him.

Thanks for the welcome.

A bit more depth on my comments.

Missouri High Schools just do not put the money into football and Missouri taxpayers will not pay more.

But Texas will pay a high school coach $100,000 per year, long story short other places put more money in the programs.

Then the other factor, I have kept with Mizzou football recruiting since 1968, and up until the St Louis Rams won the superbowl, baseball was the most popular sport in Missouri, then it changed, but now I think baseball is again the most popular sport. So our athletics often choose another sport.

What have I misssed on STL Today? Red Bird Classic still talking around in circles? Rantz losing his mind after every loss?

Sofa is a big hit on the early summer crotchet festival circuit in the New England area. He will be back around early August.
