Wow, other then the Army win over Wake Forest the day continues to be depressing. SIU is my semi-alma mater. I spent a glorious three semesters there... I don't really remember any of them but I did have a good time and I didn't pick up any STDs.

A few years of working in the real world made me much more enthusiastic about doing well in college when I went to Arkansas.

They are showing that maybe a team can be terrible in the first year under a new HC, and recover. Only been dominated 1 time this year.

I believe in Odom and think he needs more than half a season. The best offensive players are just about all underclassmen.
It took him a couple years to rework the Memphis defense.
Georgia fans are freaking out about Smart, I think he will be good also.

You could be right. You could be wrong. There's really nothing we've seen this year to suggest he will get better. But it's possible.

BO needs 3-4 years to see if he can coach. He just should have taken the Memphis job to get that 3-4 years. The SEC doesn't issue training wheels. If he could recruit, then maybe that buys him time like Butch Davis. But his recruiting class looks like shite, so between his coaching and bad recruiting he will bury the program.

I'm sure he wants to be better, but go to a less competitive program and learn the ropes. How about we trade with Appalachian State.

First time head coaches haven't done well in this conference. Mark Richt is one of the few to end up having real success.

I wish he took the Memphis job, earned a 35-15 record maybe 3 bowl wins, then the true son returns. Thing is... If Pinkel doesn't get sick, that's probably exactly what happens.
