Knew Walker retiring would be one of our bigger coaching loses ever at Mizzou? Walker was a leader, and provided energy to the entire team, now we have a bunch of dead fish on the offensive line playing for Mizzou


On another note has Mizzou always run a zone blocking scheme, or is this something Ricker convinced Pinkel could work with a spread system? It seems to be failing misreably.

In the Big 12 Mizzou ran the spread with the OL in wide splits so power blocking was all that could be done. In the SEC they got rid of the wide splits but stayed with power blocking. Ricker's first year was about 50/50. This year he seems 100% committed to zone blocking.
