Not that we specifically lose a ton of guys to Oklahoma specifically but still big news.

Now we are back to four active coaches that have won NCs.

Where will all the questionable character guys go to play P5 football?

NCAA left Oxford and went to Norman for the next victim.

Hmmm. Josh Huepel was theoretically -this- close to possibly being the next HC @ Oklahoma.

One off season at 8-5 and a head had to roll.

Favorite Stoops story: Putting fake quotes from #Mizzou players in a story my dad wrote, printing it out, putting it in OU locker room

Wow! I have to admit I dislike Oklahoma just a little less today than I did yesterday...just a little.

I know they've promoted their OC to HC. Is that temporary, or does he have the job? If he's just for this year, I wouldn't be surprised to see Huepel in Norman next year!

Huepel was fired when he was the OC with the Sooners. You never know.

I don't.

You ever been to OKC/Norman?

It's chock full of 100% Sooner Stupid.

Good riddance to bad rubbish, but the stain will always remain.

Why they think that Mizzou is one of 5 teams that will benefit from the retirement of Bob Stoops.

Last recruiting cycle, the Sooners beat out numerous top programs for four-star offensive guard Marquis Hayes and Oklahoma is heavily back in that bordering state this cycle especially since it’s a loaded class. Four-star defensive tackles Michael Thompson and Trevor Trout would be phenomenal pieces to the class and then defensive ends Ronnie Perkins and Daniel Carson, along with wide receiver Kamryn Babb, are all top targets. This could be huge for Barry Odom and his staff at Mizzou if he could convince those top targets among many others to stay home instead of leaving the state to play for the Sooners. After back-to-back losing seasons, it feels like a long while since the Tigers played in back-to-back SEC championship games.

We'd better benefit.

However, the Nubbers hired What's His frick and the STL guys seem interested, if not enamored.

It will always be a battle for 'ol Mizzou.

It's what makes Mizzou so kitschy.

Well we lost a few and got a few, Pinkel nabbed several players from OU's grasp, Maclin I guess being the biggest name.

So how much outrage will the usual suspects have when OU names a coordinator with no HC experience as Stoops replacement.?

The point is that it will be the second consecutive HC that Castiglione has hired with zero HC experience.

Good trivia.

Does Riley go 4-8 this year?

Riley isn't inheriting a 5 win team, that has almost half of the recruits from the previous 3 recruiting class.

Instead he gets a heisman level QB.

Irrelevant. He will have earned the job based on his previous performance as a department head and his vision for moving forward.
