Rosburg was more athletic than Nikko if that tells you anything.

Again, Rosburg was used to playing outside and why he seemed/was more athletic. He had zero inside skills until the 2nd half of his senior season. Nikko is not the most athletic, but he I don't need that inside. Hell, Karnowski is a WWE wrestler playing basketball. I'd take that if you have the talent on the wings and outside. Just can't take someone that constantly gets pushed around inside.

I stronglyyyyyyyyyy disagree

I disagree. You've got to be able to move your feet to play defense even on the interior.

Rounding out his class out with Tilmon, Harris, and Knox would be solid work in year one.

american Airlines

Pdx 12:15a - dfw 6:02 am flight 2301
DFW 12:25 pm to COU 1:57p flight 5742.

A starting five next year of
Smith
Phillips
Tilmon
Barnett
MPJ
Would be pretty good. CJ, Puryear off the bench

Probably the most realistic starting five I've seen on this board mainly because Knox isn't in it.

As of right now I would rather have a pf in there than 2 SF. The reason because with a pf in, Porter's going to have a mismatched nearly every time

Kansas and Duke both played last season with Jackson and Tatum as their 4. It worked great.

Not saying it couldn't work, But Porter has two inches on both of them and a lot more versatility.
im saying the mismatches will be even greater and it'll allow Porter to do even more. Most teams you'll play will have a 4 around 6'8 and a 3 around 6'5. Id rather porter have the lesser guarding him.

Knox's dad likes Martin, because of his defensive style and his honesty plus he said he wouldn't mind seeing his son and Porter playing together.

If Tilmon, Knox, and Porter are all on the floor together you're talking about mismatches all over the court. Does it really matter if they are PFs or SFs?

Yes, yes it does. A SF, especially a good one can play SG and PF also. Those are two very different positions. Cant say that about a PF.

I think you're agreeing with his point.

nah. Need a PF, or someone capable of playing the PF for the ideal mismatch for Porter(puryear). Knox wouldnt help with that as much. Tilmon is mroe of a C than PF. so he also doesnt help much with that.
