Yeah, ties to Michigan as well. I would imagine they are the biggest competition, if not the out right leader.

Here is an interview with Devin Brooker where he goes into detail about how he chose his top five.

Jakeenan Gant a 4* PF from Georgia, highest rated player in the state, will make an official visit to Mizzou. It will be his first official visit. He is 6'8 200 pounds.

So TB reports that PM is reporting Gant committed. Anyone that can confirm?

How, can Haith give some recruiting advice to Pinkel? Pretty please?

Ranked #44 player in the nation and #37 on espn. A great pick up by Haith and Co.
Whats our scholarship situation? Does that put us out for Devin Booker

I don't know the current situation but there is no way they pass on Booker. If Booker would somehow choose Mizzou, the staff will have also gotten word that one or more of the players have decided to either go pro or transfer. The question would be who.

It sounds like we are currently out of scholarships but they will make room for Booker if hr chooses mizzou. With a solid season Brown could go pro and never rule a transfer out. Either way in the recruiting department Haith is getting it done. Now lets see if he can put it together on the court.

Seems like the move to the SEC is boosting bball recruiting way more than fball. Strange.

Or it could just be the difference in the level of quality of the coaches/assistants. Football team is sorely lacking a Fuller type and I don't think Pinkel is nearly the salesman that Haith is.

Lots of
Bball program has a way better national perception than football. Its its truly a program w national reach. Football program isn't on that level. Bball is kind of close to being an elite program, its definitely one of the big boys. But football is more of a slightly above average joe.

I don't disagree with that mo. The shame of it is, is that GP had the chance to take the football program to that next level going from the Smith to Daniel era. However, now it seems MU has taken 10 steps back after taking one step forward.

I won't go that far just yet. I want to see how this year goes before I go there. But this year is critical, that's for sure.
