I think this is going to be a fun season even if it doesn't completely meet my expectations.

As an Arkansas fan its good to know that Bielema and Odom are both buying into our new rivalry.
It won't have the sheer level of hate that Kansas/Missouri or Arkansas/Texas had. It can still be a great rivalry between two schools who have a lot in common and are both outside the perceived power structure of SEC football.
There will come a day, perhaps not soon, when Arkansas vs Missouri may be a rematch in the SEC Championship game.
Odom admitting that he was a bit shaky in his first year is a good thing. He knows what his flaws were and he is trying to correct them. Better "I know I made mistakes" then "My superior vision was not realized, beatings will commence until morale improves".

It appears he's learned from his rookie mistakes like practicing the guys into submission in the August heat.

I don't know that I'm that high on them at this point. But, I do think an 8 win season is possible. I very much want to beat Auburn, although that may be the least winnable game. It would provide some sweet tears though.

I think its a good idea. A lot of kids who might be sitting on the borderline of being recruited to a Div 1 team can get a chance to show what they can do. Arkansas and Missouri high school football teams have been playing each other forever and a year so why not?
