Doesn't necessarily mean we can't get Tilmon. Bossi was on the radio the other day and said his relationship with Walker may be overblown and regardless of Walker still thinks Cuonzo has a good chance of signing him. We'll see.

Smith is a far better player. Tilmon is big and athletic. But as I've said a couple of times, I think he's a year or two away from really contributing, especially offensively.

I would imagine Smith is still a heavy Illini lean with Walker staying.

Sure they have. I still think with Walker staying he's probably still an Illini lean. Hopefully Martin can change that and he ends up at Mizzou.

A grad transfer big probably helps Mizzou more next year than Tilmon.
Tilmon is a multi year college player, so the real benefit of getting him comes in the following years.

I think we have legitimate shots at both of them...even with Walker staying.

Oh I think we have a shot. No way am I saying we are out of it. I just think Walker staying hurt the odds. Didn't eliminate the odds.
