Yeah, I have a feeling things fell perfectly in place after 3 or 4 years in the wilderness.

I wish I was as optimistic as some of you. Yes, I think there will be improvement over the Kimbo years, but I'm hesitant to see greatness in the future. Of course I hope my un-ease is not warranted.

Definitely an upgrade over what you had. I thought there were some better options available for Mizzou to go after, but certainly could have done much much worse than Cuonzo.
What all do you guys have coming back next season? Any rumors of anyone transferring out because of the hire or because of KA being let go?

Pretty much everyone comes back, that's not saying much considering Mizzou only won 8 games.
If Cuonzo is able to get MPJ and Mark Smith both would come in and start from day 1. That would allow guys like Barnett and Puryear to play more natural roles.

Taking a wait and see attitude.

There will probably be a couple of transfers, but Mizzou has to be careful with that, due to the APR mess Frank Haith got Mizzou into. There's still one year of Haith, an APR score that was around 860, on the books.
Most of that is pretty much cleaned up, it's about the one good thing Kim Anderson did as coach. It's my understanding that a kid that transfers out must be in good academic standing, can't recall the exact GPA requirements.
On Cuonzo - he was probably my 2cd or 3rd pick, but I really wasn't taking into account the reception he'd receive in St. Louis. It's my understanding that this hire has gone over tremendously well there. Coaches/basketball guru's over there that shunned Mizzou, are now in the ears of kids telling them positive things about Mizzou. Martin is seen as the local kid from the projects that did good. The one that got out and made something of himself. I way underestimated that part of the hire.
Mizzou has one fringe top 100 kid signed, CJ Roberts out of Texas. Everyone is assuming Michael Porter Jr. will be coming, he's the #1 ranked recruit and many of the talent guys rank him above all the kids from last season as well. Rumor has it that Porter's brother Jontay is considering reclassifying to this year's class so that he can play a year with MPJr.
A kid from East St. Louis, Tillman, is a top 40 or so kid. He signed with IL, but momentum has been swing towards Mizzou on this one. Martin's sister is an assistant principal at East St. Louis.
Another kid, a combo guard Smith, also from the metro east St. Louis area is a possibility, but supposedly is leaning towards IL.
Both Porter brothers are in the 6'9 to 6'10" range. The elder can pretty much do it all while Jontay is more of a classic 4 high post type that could play the center.
Tillman is also in the 6'10" range as a 4/5.
If those three sign, not counting Smith, Mizzou would suddenly get some much needed height so poor Kevin Puryear won't be on his own anymore.
Also, if those three sign, plus Roberts, then Mizzou would have a class of 4, so two kids would need to transfer out to make the numbers work, which is where Mizzou needs to be careful because of the APR stuff.
That class would probably rank as one of the top 10 classes in the country. How much it would improve Mizzou is anyone's guess.
